What is the list of banking exams after graduation?
Getting a bank job is one of the most sought career options the students opt for after completing their graduation. India is going through a boom in the banking industry which is expected to continue in the coming years. Government is focused on adding more and more people to the banking system which means there are going to be ample opportunities in the banking sector for the job aspirants. Even though the banking sector is generating a large number of jobs but securing a bank job is still not that easy. You have to face stiff competition to grab a job.

1. IBPS Clerk
This is one of the most popular Banking exams in India offering the post of clerks in participating Banks. A lot of Banks recruit clerks on the basis of this exam only. A large number of candidates apply for this exam so you can expect a stiff competition. Generally, the application form for IBPS clerk is available around the month of September, October every year.
Minimum Age limit: 20 years
Maximum Age Limit: 28 years.
2. IBPS PO
Along with the IBPS Clerk exam, the IBPS also conducts the IBPS PO exam. As the name itself suggests this exam is conducted for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO). If you are looking to be a Bank officer then this is the exam you should definitely try to crack. You need to be a graduate in order to appear for this exam. The application form is generally released in the month of August/ September.

3. NIACL Assistant
The New India Assurance Insurance Company Limited (NIACL) conducts this exam to recruit the candidates for the post of assistant. NIACL is one of the five insurance companies that are owned by the government. The candidate must have a recognized bachelor’s degree in order to apply for this exam.
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
4. RBI Grade B
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts the RBI Grade B exam every year for the recruitment of Grade B officers. The Pay scale of RBI Grade B officers is quite good. This is the reason why a large number of candidates apply for this exam every year. Generally, the application form for RBI Grade B is released around the month of July every year.

Maximum Age: 30 Years
5. SBI PO
If you are looking to work in the State Bank of India as an officer then you need to clear this exam. This is one of the most reputed exams in the banking sector that’s why a very large number of candidates apply for this exam every year. After clearing the preliminary exam the candidate is called to participate in the main exam. The final selection is done after the interview. Usually, the application form is released around the month of April.

6. SBI Clerk
Just like SBI PO, SBI also conducts the exam for the recruitment of clerk as well. The difficulty level of SBI clerk question paper is lower than that of PO but the competition level still remains very high. Lakhs of candidates apply for this exam every year. Generally, the SBI releases the official notification for SBI clerk exam in the month of January. If you are a graduate looking to be a clerk in the state bank of India then you should definitely go for this exam.

7. IBPS SO
If you are a professional graduate i.e. having a professional graduate degree such as B.Tech or a degree in law then you can also opt for IBPS Special Officer (SO) exam. The competition level in the Special officer exam is less than that of IBPS PO or Clerk Exam. However, you should have a good knowledge of your trade in order to secure good marks in this exam. The application form for IBPS SO is generally released in the month of November.

8. NABARD
National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) also conducts its own separate exam to select the candidates for the post of Development Assistant. Generally, the number of vacancies available through this exam is quite less as compared to the other popular exam such as IBPS Clerk, SBI PO etc. Nevertheless, if you are good enough then you still grab a job for yourself through this exam.

9. IBPS RRB
This exam is conducted for the recruitment of both clerk and officers in the regional rural banks across India. This exam has two stages i.e. Prelims and Main. However, there is no interview for the post of office assistant (Clerk). Proficiency in the local language is necessary for this exam.
Minimum Age (Office Assistant): 18 Years
Maximum Age (Office Assistant): 28 Years
Minimum Age (Assistant Manager): 18 Years
Maximum Age (Assistant Manager): 30 Years
10. LIC HFL Recruitment
LIC also invites the applications from the young graduates for the recruitments of Assistants, Associates, and Assistant Managers. Generally, the applications for the LIC Housing Finance recruitment release in the month of August. The age limit for the post of associate and assistant through this exam is 21 to 28 years.
